Our fresh water Pearls are not imitation pearls, they are cultured pearls from a freshwater mollusc. The irregular shapes of the rice, flat, and potato pearls are what makes them very popular with bracelet, necklace and earring designers. To protect the pearls from being ripped off their necklace or bracelet thread, use a magnetic clasp. This clasp breaks open under sudden pressure leaving the thread unbroken

South Sea Pearls: cultured pearls, measuring up to 13mm are farmed in Australia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. They range in colour from white to black and have a perfectly round to slightly asymmetrical shape. These pearls have medium to high lustre, and can be expensive depending on their lustre.
